CODE OF ETHICS OF THE CAPOEIRA

EXPOSITION OF REASONS
Considering the necessities imposed for the evolution and growth of the sportive, social and cultural activities of the Capoeira, we consider the present Code of Ethics, where rules and norms of behavior and ethical behavior are placed that will go to determine the level of the relations between students, professors, and masters of Capoeira.
With this, we intend to preserve the Capoeira as a manifestation that has the objective to contribute for the education of the person.


CODE OF ETHICS
SECTION I - EXTENSION Of the CODE
Art. 1º - the rules of this Code serve for the students, professors and masters of Capoeira.
SECTION II - BASIC DUTIES
Art. 2º - Is responsibility of the students, professors and masters, the intransigent defense of Capoeira.
Art. 3º - The duties of the students, professors and masters understand, beyond the defense of the rights and personal interests, the zeal of the prestige of all the categories and of the dignity of its conditions.
Art. 4º - It is not allowed to each member of all the categories:
I - Make reference to any member of its or another category, reserved or public, personally or not, in terms that can offend its reputation as a student, professor or master.
II — To speak badly, by any media, in terms without relative respect to the exercise of activities of Capoeira of any group or association.
III - To recruit adepts to the respective groups associates using any advertising that points demerit of the activities of the others.
IV - To mention any type of expression that implies in discredit to the capacity of a member of its category when be directing the attention to member of other one, reserved or public.
V — To divulge to any person, personal remarks or of third, which can defame the good concept of the members of all the categories.

Art. 5º - Subjects relative to the members of the categories of students, professors or masters, will only be argued between colleagues of the respective categories.
Art. 6º - The quarrel of aptitude or technical capacity is not admitted between members of different categories.
SECTION III - PRACTICAL OF THE CAPOEIRA
Art. 7º - Each member of all the categories will apply all the persistence and the resources of its knowledge in any activity of Capoeira.
Art. 8º - The relation will be respectful between the members of the categories of students, professors and masters.
Art. 9º - It will watch over the professor and the master for its exclusive ability in the orientation of its disciples.
SECTION IV - ETHICS COMMISSION
Art. 10º - A COMMISSION OF ETHICS in each site will be constituted, with the purpose to make to fulfill the disposals of this Code.
Art. 11º - The ETHICS COMMISSION will be composed for members of the categories formed student, professor and master.
Art. 12º - The trespass of norms of this Code involving members of different Regions, will be submitted to a Special Commission of Ethics, composed for members of other Regions, that not those of the involved ones.
SECTION V - CODE OBSERVANCE
Art. 13º - When the member will be in doubt on any question of ethics that consider not foreseen in this Code, before any attitude, will present the case in general terms to the evaluation of the Commission of Ethics, appeals to the SPECIAL COMMISSION OF ETHICS.
SECTION VI - PENALTY FOR LACKS OF DISCIPLINE
Art. 14º - In accordance with the gravity of the trespass, will be applied the penalties:
* Warning
* Suspension
* Loss of graduation
* Exclusion
* Disability of diploma
Art. 15º - It will fit resources of decision of the SPECIAL ADVICE OF ETHICS when applied penalty of diploma disability.
Art. 16º - The SPECIAL ADVICE OF ETHICS will communicate to the responsible Master by the student to the occurrence of any trespass and the penalty applied to this.
SECTION VII - CHANGE OF THE CODE
Art. 17º - Any modification of this Code will only be made by the a national entity, in virtue of proposal of regional entity, communicated to the other regional entities with minimum antecedence of 90 days.
SECTION VIII - VALIDITY OF THE CODE
Art. 18º - The present code enters in vigor in all the site in the date of its approval by the International Entity.
